Absynth is an incredibly versatile tool, so it’s important to take a deep breath, and think about what you’re trying to accomplish. Absynth draws on additive synthesis to let us morph between two distinct timbres, creating unusually rich sonic textures. Additive synthesis is the process of bringing together many sinusoid partials in order to build a sound from the ground up. One of the unique qualities of Absynth is that it is one of the only places in the entire Komplete suite where we can use additive synthesis.
